Driving Directions:
FROM MANHATTAN
Take the Holland Tunnel to the first exit on the NJ Turnpike, Exit 14B. After the toll, bear left and follow signs to Liberty Science Center.
FROM NORTH, SOUTH OR WEST
Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 14C, staying in right-hand lanes at the toll. The exit to Liberty State Park is immediately after the toll. Take the first right then make an immediate left to enter the parking lot.
FROM STATEN ISLAND
Take the Goethals Bridge to the NJ Turnpike North. Follow signs to Exit 14C, staying in right-hand lanes at the toll. The exit is immediately after the toll. Take the first right then make an immediate left to enter the parking lot.
Public Transportation:
AMTRAK
AMTRAK is Liberty Science Center's official rail sponsor. AMTRAK trains provide service to many stations within close proximity to Liberty State Park, including New York City's Penn Station. Get more information.
PATH TRAINS
Take the PATH to Pavonia/Newport or Exchange Place station and transfer to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (see below). For information, fares and schedules, call PATH at 800.234.PATH (7284).
HUDSON-BERGEN LIGHT RAIL
From downtown Jersey City, Hoboken or other points north, take the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail toward 22nd Street or West Side Avenue and exit at Liberty State Park Station. (From Bayonne or West Side Avenue, take the Light Rail toward Hoboken.) Walk to the sidewalk directly under the NJ Turnpike overpass; we're right on the other side!

LIBERTY LANDING MARINA WATER TAXI
Provides service from the World Financial Center, where Vesey Street meets the Hudson River, to Liberty State Park. From there, it is a roughly 20-minute walk to Liberty Science Center, or you can take the NJ Transit loop bus. Call 201.985.8000 for more information. Details here.
NY WATERWAY
Ferry lands at Colgate Center/ Exchange Place or Liberty Harbor Marin Boulevard in Jersey City. Connect to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (see above). Call 800.53.FERRY for more information. Details here.
NEW YORK WATER TAXI
Provides weekday service between Pier 11 (Water and Wall Streets) in Lower Manhattan and the Paulus Hook Terminal on Colgate Pier (Hudson Street and Exchange Place) in Jersey City. There are three ways to get tickets for your visit to Liberty Science Center:
ONLINE: Make advance reservations by clicking here.
BY PHONE: Call 201.200.1000. Our reservation line is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
IN PERSON: Come to our Box Office to buy tickets at the start of your visit.
